The nominations for Firebelles 2025-26 Board of Directors is now open and you are invited to run. Outgoing officers will offer mentorship throughout your term.

There are 5 Board Positions:

President: Leads meetings, appoints key members, and serves as a liaison between the Firebelles and LOP Association. View Position Description (PDF)

2nd Vice President: Leads the planning and management of Firebelles fund raising events. View Position Description (PDF)
Treasurer: Maintains the accounting and control of all financial matters for the Firebelles. View Position Description (PDF)
Secretary: Maintains detailed minutes of discussions and actions taken during Executive Board and General Membership meetings. View Position Description (PDF)

Our Luncheon’s – Looking ahead in the New Year of 2025 Firebelles’ Luncheon’s speakers through May:

February 20, 2025 – Child Advocates
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program for the Placer County Juvenile Dependency Court was established to train volunteers to help foster youth, at-risk youth, and parents build resiliency, self-confidence and self-sufficiency. Working together to attain academic goals, avoid the juvenile justice system, improve life skills, and identify support systems.

March 20, 2025 – Acres of Hope
Jackie Turner is the ministry outreach coordinator at Acres of Hope. Their mission is to help families through the process of change, healing, and growth that they need to completely overcome the cycles of homelessness, trauma, addiction, and poverty. They do so by using a holistic approach that addresses whole-person, whole-family health.

April 22, 2025 (Tuesday) – A Night in Paris
Firebelles Only. 5:30 – 9:00 pm. Entrance fee is $30. You may bring 1 non-Firebelle guest. RSVP: March 24 at 9:00 am thru April 14 at 6:00 pm. Don’t wait to secure your spot. Mark your calendars for 3/24 and 4/22.
 
May 15, 2025 (Thursday) – HOME TOUR EVENT 
Following Luncheon at 12:30. Homes open at 1:00. There will be 6 homes to view. This will be a fun time and great way to get home decor ideas.

Join a fun group of women doing fun activities to provide enhancements for our Lake of the Pines community.

Firebelles are Active.

The Firebelles create special fundraising events which are held in our community throughout each year. The funds raised at our special events are donated to Lake of the Pines for identified needs about our community and provide items which might not otherwise be made possible.
