Please read the written changes in bold below for the Firebelles By-Laws. Presented by Lauren Hash, Parliamentarian.

ARTICLE II – EXECUTIVE BOARD
Section 1.
The Executive Board shall consist of the five (5) officers plus the Parliamentarian. A requirement to hold office shall be at least one year of membership as a Firebelles. Only officers shall have voting rights. A quorum consists of three (3) officers.
ARTICLE III – NOMINATIONS AND ELECTION
Section 2.
Nominations may be made from the floor provided nominees have given their consent, and the nominees shall each have at least one year of membership as a Firebelles.
Reasoning: To keep the heritage of FIREBELLES, while improving and enhancing the organization with new members.
ARTICLE VII – AMENDMENTS
Section 1.
Any and all amendments may be adopted at any business meeting by a majority vote of the members in attendance, provided amendment is proposed at a regular business meeting and posted to the Firebelles website for 28 days prior to voting. The Change shall be communicated to the membership by e-mail or US mail as appropriate. Voting on amendments shall become effective immediately on adoption of same, unless the motion to adopt specifies an elective date.

Just a friendly reminder that the Firebelles are hosting the Denim and Pearls Spring Event on April 20th at the Clubhouse.
Join us for a night of fun, laughter, dancing to live music by The Jay Rolerz band, good food and making memories with your friends and neighbors!
As a bonus…we will have line dance instruction & Corn Hole tournaments.

MONTHLY MEETINGS:
April… Thursday the 18th, …one of LOP’s newest and hottest clubs is the hiking group…”Lost on Purpose”. Come to learn about their scenic hikes, friendships and fresh air fun outdoors!
May… Thursday the 16th, …is Firebelles Election of Officers over a buffet luncheon. There will also be a florist presentation.
June… Thursday the 20th,…is Installation of Firebelles Board of Director Officers and the In Sync dancers.

Join a fun group of women doing fun activities to provide enhancements for our Lake of the Pines community.
The Firebelles create special fundraising events which are held in our community throughout each year. The funds raised at our special events are donated to Lake of the Pines for identified needs about our community and provide items which might not otherwise be made possible.
